Ardent, defined as zealous, passionate, or intense devotion, accurately describes the level of service and determination you can expect from me. I am Vincent, the owner, and I've been in this industry for over 20 years. I'm recognized by the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) as a Master Textile Cleaner, a Master Fire & Smoke Restorer, and a practicing Senior Carpet Inspector, register# 87781. My other certifications include Carpet Cleaning, Commercial Carpet Maintenance, Carpet Repair & Reinstallation, Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning, Color Correction, Odor Control, Fire & Smoke Restoration, Health & Safety, and Stone, Masonry & Tile Cleaning.

We treat every job like it is the most crucial, spending the time to do it correctly according to written standards while maintaining your carpet's warranty. Most of our projects require a half or full day, occasionally multiple days. As such, our pricing may be higher than other companies you'll find advertising specials. Our services generally start from $300 and are priced per square foot, square yard, linear foot, or other measurements when applicable. Answers to some common questions can be found on our FAQ page.

Service Description
Carpet Cleaning for Residential Certified cleaning for owner-occupied homes to maintain your carpet warranty, priced per square foot. Most carpet mills recommend or require a professional cleaning every 12-18 months.
Carpet Cleaning for Rental Properties Cleaning for tenant-occupied or vacant rental properties such as apartments & duplexes, priced per square foot starting from $225*. All warranties are void.
* Additional fees apply for units with difficult access (i.e., enclosed buildings, no parking, multiple stories high, high-rise, etc...)—the minimum service fees increase based on travel distance.
Carpet Cleaning for Commercial Property Carpet cleaning services for commercial properties such as office buildings, churches, and restaurants. Pricing is per square foot and is usually bid ahead of time. Special operation hours are available with advanced notice.
Stone, Tile, and Grout Cleaning & Sealing Cleaning, restorative cleaning, and sealing are available, priced per square foot. Rates vary depending on soiling levels, restorative cleaning needs, and sealing products and services.
Carpet Repairs Carpet re-stretching, color corrections for color stains or bleach discolorations, bonded inserts, seam repairs, transitions, tack-strip, and cushion replacement are some repairs we can do. Each job is unique, and an on-site consultation is required for an estimate before work.
Upholstery Cleaning Specialized cleaning performed according to written standards by a Master Textile Cleaner, usually priced per linear foot. Rates vary depending on item lengths, design features, material, soiling levels, and pet issues.
Limited, Area Rug Cleaning (On-site) We can clean some rugs on-location, but many should be taken to a professional rug facility. Minimum charges apply to come out for your rug, and it may be more cost-effective to take them to a facility yourself. Ardent maintains a relationship with a rug facility, whom we can refer you to. Alternatively, we can pick your rugs up and take them to the facility for an additional fee ($300 minimum).
Free on-site consultations are available for projects of $300 or more within 20 miles.

What's included in the standard cleaning?
  1. Dry soil removal or dry-vacuuming: This is the most critical yet underrated step. Upwards of 70% or more of the soils found in textiles, such as carpets, are insoluble, meaning they cannot be dissolved into water. This step is also crucial for upholstery cleaning.
  2. Pre-conditioning or Pre-treatment: These specialized products are used to emulsify or suspend the soluble soils for rinsing. Additional charges may apply for heavy or extreme soiling.
  3. Light agitation (as needed): This spreads the products evenly and helps emulsification, particularly in high-traffic areas. Some cases require a more aggressive approach with heavy agitation, which is offered for an additional fee.
  4. Water Rinse Extraction (formerly termed "Hot-Water Extraction"): This is the rinsing and extraction process, which most people will recognize with the hoses coming into their homes and a wand attached. Usually, an approved carpet detergent or acidic textile rinse is used, depending on the situation's requirements. A rotary extraction process can also be used but is not recommended for use on cut-pile yarns.
  5. Extra drying: Use of additional dry extraction strokes and fans when available to speed up drying
  6. Grooming or raking (when applicable): This allows the fibers to dry in their upright position rather than being matted down or leaving indentations and marks from the cleaning processes

Heavy soiling, staining, or odors may require additional processes, treatments, and labor. Free consultations are available within 20 miles if you want an accurate cost estimate. There is a fee for locations beyond 20 miles.

Specialized treatments, such as heavy soil, stain removal, pet urine, pet dander, protectant, etc..., are not included in the standard cleaning rate and will incur additional charges. When the cleaning area is smaller than the minimum charge covers, these needs are considered to maximize the value. Ardent Carpet Restore does not offer packages, as each job is unique and requires total attention. We will not try to sell you something you don't need, which may be ineffective.
